Mass-Barchana Architects and City Builders specializes in designing innovative projects in Israel. The firm was founded in 1966 by the architects Esther and Zalman Barchana, graduates of the Technion.
In 1979, Shmulik Michaeli joined the firm and today serves as senior planner and team leader of many projects. Shmulik has more than 30 years of experience in project planning and management, master plans, transportation projects and complex buildings. The firm plans complex projects in the field of defense and industrial infrastructure , educational buildings and public buildings. In addition, the firm leads innovative planning regarding buildings for knowledge-
intensive companies, such as "Elbit"
in “Kiryat Hamada” in Rehovot and the “Hamerton” complex in Petah Tikva. As well as public buildings, such as the building of the district court in Be'er Sheva.

משרד מס-ברחנא אדריכלים ובוני ערים מתמחה בעיצוב פרויקטים חדשניים בישראל. את המשרד הקימו ב- 1966 האדריכלים אסתר וזלמן ברחנא, בוגרי הטכניון.
ב- 1979 הצטרף למשרד שמוליק מיכאלי המשמש היום סמנכ"ל תפעול, מתכנן בכיר וראש צוות של פרויקטים רבים. לשמוליק ניסיון של יותר מ- 30 שנה בתכנון ובניהול פרויקטים, תוכניות אב, פרויקטים תחבורתיים ומבנים מורכבים. כבר בתחילת הדרך תכננו אדריכלי המשרד פרויקטים מורכבים בתחום התשתיות הביטחוניות והתעשייתיות, מבני חינוך ומבני ציבור. פעילות זו של המשרד המשיכה להתפתח
ולצבור תאוצה עם הפעילות הממסדית והטכנו-כלכלית של המגזר הציבורי, המתכננים מבנים לחברות עתירות ידע, כדוגמת "אלביט" בקריית המדע ברחובות וקומפלקס המרטון בפתח תקווה. וכמו-כן מבני ציבור, כדוגמת המבנה של בית המשפט המחוזי בבאר שבע.
Amit Mass
In 2023, he joined the office of Barchana Architects, as the CEO and chief architect, responsible for planning and building an architectural concept, managing and coordinating the professional work with the firm's team of architects. Amit graduated from Bezalel with honors, worked in offices around the world and interned in the US in the office of the architect Frank Gerry as part of the Tolerance Museum project in Jerusalem, and in Barcelona in the office of Ricardo Beaufil.
Amit was Ilan Pivko's partner for 18 years in the planning of projects for luxury residences and the construction of towers, public buildings and hotels. Among his most well-known projects are the |Golden Tower", the "Florentine Quarter" of the YBOX company, and the "BLUE" project of the
Canada Israel company.
Amit brings with him the BIM method to design buildings in Israel, and is an expert in building envelopes with advanced and composite materials.

ב- 2023 הצטרף למשרד עמית מס המשמש היום מנכ"ל ואדריכל ראשי, אחראי על תכנון ובניית קונספט אדריכלי, ניהול ותאום העבודה המקצועית מול צוות אדריכלי המשרד. עמית סיים את לימודיו בבצלאל בהצטיינות, עבד במשרדים ברחבי העולם והתמחה בארה"ב במשרדו של האדריכל פרנק גרי במסגרת פרויקט מוזיאון הסובלנות בירושלים, ובברצלונה במשרדו של ריקרדו בופיל.
לאחרונה היה שותפו של אילן פיבקו במשך 18 שנים בתכנון פרויקטים למגורי יוקרה ובניה רוויה מגדלים, מבני ציבור ומלונות. מבין הפרויקטים הידועים ביותר שלו כלולים "מגדל הזהב", רביעית פלורנטין של חברת YBOX , ופרויקט BLUE של חברת קנדה ישראל.
עמית מביא עימו את שיטת BIM לתכנון מבנים בישראל, והינו מומחה למעטפות בניה בחומרים מתקדמים.
