The Kiryat Gat station was built in the 1950s and was upgraded over the years.
The station is on the axis of the Tel-Aviv - Be'er Sheva railway, and is an important intermediate station.
Due to the accelerated growth of the city and the increase in passenger traffic, it was decided to design a new terminal
to the station, which will be integrated into the future construction plans of the developing city.

The wide and bright hall, linking its appearance to the rail axis, will express the strong connection between the station to the city.
